That lower video is pretty interesting. I had no idea the Amphibian Ark project was "sponsored" by Clorox, which is certainly the message I got from that video.

I've been a bit skeptical of that project at times. They mention that the animals in the Amphibian Ark could be used for repatriation, but Bd may persist in the environment even after the amphibians have disappeared. Furthermore, amphibians can be hard to breed in captivity. In the short-term, it seems like a great idea; but I am wary of its long term benefits.

When we disinfect our field gear in the Sierra Nevada, we use quaternary ammonia instead of bleach. I don't think clorox sells ammonia.
