I've posted on this before but since it came up in class here are a couple of links to articles about the spurious autism-vaccine link.One of my favorites is surprisingly in the tabloid-ish New York Post with the provocative title: Junk Science Kills which contains this gem, which I hope is one of the take home messages of this course:
It's very easy to scare people; it's very hard to unscare them.
There was also a nice Opinion article in the LA times earlier this year: The damage of the anti-vaccination movement.
